HLTV has initiated a closed beta program for HLTV Brain, its newly developed AI chatbot designed specifically for Counter-Strike enthusiasts and analysts. The beta is currently available to a limited group of users.
The intelligent assistant leverages HLTV's comprehensive internal repository, which includes player profiles, team information, match results, news archives, rankings, and statistical data. According to the announcement, the system exclusively relies on HLTV's proprietary data for generating responses.
The beta testing period is scheduled to run for two weeks, with gradual expansion to additional users. Those interested in accessing the tool can register through the official waitlist.
Demonstrated capabilities include analyzing complex scenarios like identifying top-performing player duos in late-round two-versus-two through two-versus-five situations at major tournaments. The system identified Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Victor "Staehr" Staehr as leading performers in this category for Big Events between 2025 and September 2026, among pairs with minimum fifty qualifying rounds.
The tool also simplifies roster research. For instance, it can instantly compile a complete list of teammates for specific players during their tenure with organizations. A query about Artem "r1nkle" Moroz revealed twelve teammates during his time with Ninjas in Pyjamas from April 2024 to April 2026.
Additional features include comparative analysis of elite players versus their teammates. The system showed Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut maintaining the largest performance gap at 0.27 in 2021 among top ten teams with fifty map minimum.
The platform can also calculate statistical probabilities, such as Big Event victory chances for players with specific performance metrics, demonstrating its potential for in-depth Counter-Strike analysis.
