F5 has officially released their Counter-Strike roster, marking the end of their brief venture into the competitive scene. According to team member Colin "colin" Chan, the players have "a new thing coming," indicating the squad will remain intact under different organizational backing.
Colin revealed that F5 CEO "Jukez" is preparing to wind down the organization's operations by the conclusion of this year. In a gesture of goodwill, Jukez informed the roster of these plans ahead of time and actively assisted them in securing a new home for their competitive endeavors.
The organization picked up the raiseybypixels lineup back in July, but their run hit significant obstacles early on. The unexpected exit of Matthew "bright" Ulatowski disrupted the team's VRS foundation and forced them to miss several scheduled competitions. Despite being cleared to participate in CROSSFIRE Season 6, F5 managed only a 9-12th place finish, falling short of expectations.
The departing roster includes Joel "flacko" Ludenberg, Samuel "atyla" Rose, Shuqi "Michael Weki" Dai, Colin "colin" Chan, and Adam "SeRCEra" Zielinski. With the team staying together and F5 closing its doors, fans can expect an announcement about their new organizational affiliation in the near future.
