EMPIRE parts ways with coach Nexity after eight months

Jeremy "Nexity" Bardy's tenure with EMPIRE has come to an end after the organization decided to cut ties with the French coach. Nexity confirmed his departure to Dust2.us, revealing that the decision was made by EMPIRE's CEO.

The coach spent eight months with EMPIRE, though his association with the core roster extends back to November 2025 when the players competed under the MAZRAEA banner. According to Nexity, the CEO cited underwhelming team performance despite multiple roster adjustments as the primary reason for the change.

Nexity expressed disagreement with the timing of the decision, pointing out that the team had only competed in three matches with their latest roster configuration. His final tournament leading EMPIRE saw the squad finish in the top six at the third ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup, where they posted a 1-2 record with a victory over Desi Boyz and defeats to DETONATE and regain.

Following Nexity's departure, EMPIRE's active roster consists of Nicolas "C0C0" Nassoura, Kaan "BAGEL" Demircan, Colby "Walco" Walsh, Kamron "kmrn" Manii, and Anthony "ayaneuu" Scheuer. The organization has not yet announced plans for a replacement coach.
