BETBOOM claimed the last available spot in the Thunderpick World Championship top four following a determined 2-1 series victory against Legacy, taking the maps 16-13 on Nuke, falling 11-13 on Dust2, and closing out Mirage 13-11.

The Russian side will square off against Falcons in Saturday's semifinal matchup. Notably, BETBOOM previously defeated Falcons at the IEM Cologne Major.

This triumph carries significant weight for BETBOOM's Major ambitions. The win earned them 62 VRS points, securing their Major qualification according to HLTV's invite simulator.

The series opened on Nuke, where Legacy's Bruno "latto" Rebelatto and Santino "try" Rigal dominated with a combined 28 frags, helping their team establish an 8-4 CT-side lead. After winning the second-half pistol round, Legacy seemed poised to close the map. However, BETBOOM mounted an impressive comeback from a 4-10 deficit, ultimately claiming the map in overtime.

Dust2 played out similarly, with Legacy squandering four match points before finally securing the map in the last round of regulation.

The deciding map fell on Mirage, where Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov delivered a masterclass performance. His impressive AWP quad-kill defending the B site helped BETBOOM maintain early control. A critical 1v1 clutch pushed his team into double digits. Magnojez finished the map with 25 kills, 104.5 ADR, and a stellar 1.58 rating.
