Astralis has announced its intention to keep the existing roster intact as the organization prepares for the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 season. The confirmation came directly from club CEO Jonas Gundersen, who outlined the team's strategic direction moving forward.
The only anticipated modification to the Danish squad will involve bringing in a fresh coaching talent. Following the departure of Kasper ruggah Due, the organization is taking a historic step by looking beyond Denmark's borders for the first time when searching for a new mentor to guide the team.
Fans won't have to wait long to see Astralis back in competitive action. The squad is scheduled to participate in BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, with the tournament set to kick off on July 21st. While the competition dates are confirmed, details regarding the Danish team's opening matchup remain under wraps for now.
This decision to maintain roster continuity suggests confidence in the current lineup's potential, with management evidently believing that coaching expertise rather than player changes represents the key to unlocking better results in the competitive CS2 landscape.
