1win have punched their ticket to the ESL Pro League Season 24 playoffs following a commanding 2-0 victory over Spirit, dominating Cache 13-5 before weathering a late surge to seal Anubis 13-9.
The triumph caps off an impressive 3-1 group stage run for Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov's squad, while Spirit now face a crucial decider in their 2-2 matchup. The win also propelled 1win to 14th place in the VRS rankings.
After dropping their opener against Vitality, 1win rallied with three straight wins over G2, Legacy, and the world number one. What began as a rocky start transformed into a playoff berth earned against top-tier competition.
The stakes reach beyond Katowice. A 5th-8th place finish gives 1win roughly 87% odds for a Singapore Major invite, climbing to about 95% with a semi-final appearance.
Cache established 1win's dominance early. They jumped to a 4-0 attacking advantage, absorbed Spirit's brief rally to 4-4, then rolled through the remaining rounds for an 8-4 half. Another pistol victory after sides switched cemented control, with Spirit scraping together just a single T-side round. Andrey "BELCHONOKK" Yasinskiy led the charge with 18 frags and a 1.70 rating.
Anubis started similarly one-sided. 1win stormed to a 5-0 attacking lead and held a dominant 9-3 halftime cushion. Spirit mounted resistance after the switch, claiming six of seven rounds to narrow the deficit to 9-10, but 1win found enough firepower to shut the door and advance.
