The team cruised through North American opposition, with JT describing the grand final against Wildcard as straightforward. He credited Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa and Keith "EliGE" Markovic for carrying the team throughout most matches, particularly highlighting malbsMd's exceptional tournament performance.
While celebrating the achievement, JT emphasized this represents just the starting point for Liquid's ambitions. The organization historically avoided smaller LAN events, but JT believes the current ecosystem demands participation at all levels. With VRS points determining tournament invitations and only eight to ten top teams able to skip lower-tier competitions, attending these events has become essential.
Regarding player development, JT praised malbsMd's anchor play and sharp shooting abilities. The team has structured systems around his strengths, particularly on Inferno where he excels. Young talent Georgi "Jorko" Mitev also impressed, handling the pressure without visible nerves and becoming a crowd favorite despite being non-North American.
JT expressed appreciation for North American fans' welcoming nature, noting how they embrace international players. He described Counter-Strike fandom as typically brutal, making the positive reception at FML particularly meaningful.
Looking ahead to Stake Pulse Beat III, JT feels confident after their recent success. The team previously reached finals there as newcomers and expects better results with improved chemistry. Regarding the Singapore Major qualification, Liquid's primary seasonal goal was securing S-tier invitations, which they've accomplished with three confirmed appearances and potentially a fourth in January.
