Copenhagen Wolves have made their official return to Counter-Strike following a teaser announcement on August 31st. The organization went dark almost ten months ago but is now back with a completely new roster.
The revived lineup features a mix of European talent alongside Igor "darkpsy" Zaniboni, who previously coached Chicken Coop. This marks a significant shift for the organization's competitive direction.
For context, Copenhagen Wolves had been dormant for seven years before being purchased by Chicken Coop player Jared "Outback" Habib. During its heyday as a Danish organization, the team was home to legendary players including Lukas "gla1ve" Rossande and Finn "karrigan" Andersen, both of whom went on to achieve massive success in the scene.
The confirmed roster consists of Filip "Dyrod" Ivanković, Adelin "adeX" Nica, Erikas "MadeInRed" Musnikas, Anton "Toshas" Aspin, and Deividas "Uzman" Narutis. Igor "darkpsy" Zaniboni will serve as head coach.
While the organization's glory days featured Danish dominance, this new iteration takes a different approach with its international European squad. It remains to be seen whether Copenhagen Wolves can recapture their former competitive standing in the modern Counter-Strike landscape.
