BLAST has officially announced the competing teams for BLAST Rivals Season 2, scheduled to run from November 11-15 in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. Eight elite squads will battle for the $1,000,000 prize pool, including all five currently top-ranked teams in the world.
This edition of BLAST Rivals promises the most competitive field yet among all Rivals tournaments. Previous season winners Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, and Legacy are all confirmed participants, bringing their championship experience to the event.
Notably, FURIA will also compete despite their already demanding schedule. The Brazilian-majority roster has previously discussed the challenges of managing their packed calendar, making their participation particularly significant.
The tournament format begins with eight teams divided into two double-elimination group stage brackets. Following the group stage, teams advance to a single-elimination best-of-three playoff bracket. The championship final will be contested in a best-of-five series, ensuring a climactic conclusion to the high-stakes competition in Hong Kong.
